HOW TO BOOST YOUR POSITIVE SELF BELIEF FOR SUCCESS.

HOW TO BOOST YOUR POSITIVE SELF BELIEF FOR SUCCESS.

Positive self belief, a belief in yourself and your abilities, is the foundation of success. Your values get up as your most deeply held general thoughts and feelings, while your beliefs are the specific opinions you have about your self and particular people, situations, things, or ideas. In summary, beliefs are the specific attitudes that stem from your values. For instance, if ambition is one of your values, you may nurture the belief that further education is crucial to success. Values thrilling to helpfulness may lead you to a belief that doing volunteer work in your community is a right to thing to do. Our values are often shaped by family, friends, religion, culture, school and society at large. The values relating to the importance of cooperation could be learned in a family setting where each member is expected to shoulder some of the chores. Also, a father, mother or guardian could set to a child what it means to exemplify the values of kindness to all, regardless of race or station in life, by being kind to all and focusing on inner qualities and strength rather than external appearances. Your confidence in and respect for your own abilities make a point for positive self belief . Our positive self belief are aspects of ourselves that are resilient to difficulties, even if we are emotionally, physically and economically hurt. To succeed in life, you need to consistently commit all your resources to achieving your goals. Positive self belief will empower you to galvanize all your emotional, intellectual, physical and social potential to actualise your plans or goals. Success is not only marked by fame and awards, but it also touches on feeling of worth and good relationship with others. To entrench and strengthen within us a positive self belief crucial for success, the following practices are of essence.

Think in terms of future possibilities. Rather than dwelling on bad experiences, successful people focus on possibilities and work to turn them into realities. They accept the good and bad experiences as realities of life and believe that everything happens for a reason and purpose.

POSITIVE SELF BELIEF

Apply your mind to the reasoning that failure is just a result and a prelude to learning. If the results are not to your liking, change your actions to produce new ones.

Take responsibility for your actions. Don’t blame others when something goes wrong. You can only change for the better what you are willing to accept. Furthermore, taking responsibility gauges a person’s maturity.

Learn what you need to know and don’t obsess over every detail. To use everything, it is not necessary to understand everything.

Develop a good respect and appreciation for yourself and others. The ability to cultivate good relationships is one of the foundations of a successful life. People including yourself are your greatest resource.

Engage in work that is challenging, exciting and interesting. Doing something you hate cannot draw success to you. When work is play and fun, the chances of succeeding at it becomes high.

Commit totally to a task and keep doing your best. Persistence pays off in the end.

Accept yourself and don’t expect to be perfect. Work to discover and develop your special talents and good qualities. Everyone is endowed with a unique or special talent.

Discover what gives you inner satisfaction and honours your values. Paying attention to yourself will guide you to do things that give you pleasure and enjoyment. Orienting your mind to what you enjoy prepares the ground for success.

To encourage yourself, use positive self-talk peppered with “I” statements and couched in the present tense. To make the most of your abilities is something achievable with a positive mental attitude. Successful people cultivate the habit of telling themselves that they will succeed.

Try new things in order to reach your potential. Remember that failure is just a result, so don’t be afraid to try new things.

Remember that you are special. Your set of capabilities and talents is unique to you. Your unique personality is defined by your values, beliefs and emotions, and the way you act upon them.

Take action towards achieving your dreams and goals. To succeed at something boosts your positive self belief. You can only make progress by taking positive action. The improved positive self-belief from your success gives you more impetus to take further action. The process of boosting your positive self belief is a cyclical one. A remarkable character like Mahatma Gandhi demonstrated a strong positive self-belief that enabled him to nurture a popular mass movement. His coalition grew strong enough to eventually topple the British colonial powers.

Don’t allow yourself to be persuaded into victimhood by negative beliefs. To be a victim is to operate from a position of weakness and to feel that you are not smart or strong enough to take charge of your own life. As you label yourself a victim, you unwittingly choose to allow things to happen to you and to allow others to control you. A victim frequently stumbles along and tolerates negative thinking that will harm the quality of his or her life. When you habitually nurture varied forms of positive self belief, rather than indulging in negative thinking, you will change your behaviour and your life for good.

POSITIVE SELF BELIEF

An enabling belief or positive self belief helps you to focus on the necessary actions required to accomplish a goal. The self confidence and persistence to succeed are often founded on a positive self belief. To accomplish what you set your mind to, you need to believe in your self. A positive self belief motivates you to coalesce your emotional, intellectual, social and physical potential into a potent force for success.

TIMELESS ENTREPRENEURIAL WISDOM TO CHERISH.

For all good, holding with timeless entrepreneurial wisdom as those enumerated below will fetch a breath of relief for aspiring and engaged entrepreneurs.

To continue with, do something that you are very passionate about. Chasing after the hot passion of the day in order to score some fast numbers in profit will not tide you over the long-run. Often times, it is hard and challenging out there and most rational people will be tempted to give up, but if you love what you’re doing and if you’re having fun doing it, you won’t easily give up.

Just go and do it. If you fail, there will be some learning to take to your next experience. Frequently, learning follows in the wake of failure. Timeless entrepreneurial wisdom is more about learning than getting stuck in your comfort zone.

Starting is one of the hardest things to do. The way to begin is to get the idea out of your head by talking about it, programming something if you are a programmer or building something if you are oriented in that direction. In full sail, timeless entrepreneurial wisdom speaks the part of nurturing ideas mentally and and then proceeding with timely positive action.

Do not expend excessive energy in a bid to avoid mistakes because making lots of mistakes will be inevitable as you pursue your dreams. The important things are to learn quickly from whatever mistakes that are obvious and not to give up. Nothing is impossible; you have to keep running through your obstacles or challenges. The courage not to give up in the face of adversity is something that can be cultivated although the process can be painful. Genius without courage will not get you where you want to go. To give sail to success, timeless entrepreneurial wisdom insists on your cultivating courage.

Don’t let people who you respect and believe are knowledgeable to discourage and talk you out of your dreams. Every now and then, the people who tell you to keep it down are those who don’t have the courage to dream.

Success holds with people who look for great ideas to make money. What they really love to do, what they are excited about, what they know something about and what is interesting and compelling to them are things that they explore passionately in search of great ideas.

You are more likely to succeed when you work on something that will make a very big difference and add real value to people’s lives. It may be difficult to accomplish such an enterprise but the energy and passion that you bring along will bear a helping hand. Timeless entrepreneurial wisdom, effective for its emphasis on emotional investment and passion, will put you on the right scent of success.

The chances of failing are higher if you’re doing something that you don’t love. Without emotional investment in what you are doing, failure is guaranteed.

TIMELESS ENTREPRENEURIAL WISDOM

Spend as much time as possible with people who have accomplished what you are striving to attain. Timeless entrepreneurial wisdom is eager for a mentor to do the inspiring up.

Cultivate a mindset that questions everything including the status quo to discover a better way of doing and making things. In view of your current resources and capabilities, get yourself and your people up to think beyond the usual way of doing things and seek for a newer more rewarding way. Timeless entrepreneurial wisdom beats up a path for novelty.

It is wise to keep in view the problem to be solved by a particular new idea. The practice of codifying or cataloguing the entire events of your typical day often reveals problems capable of inviting in viable ideas.

Push yourself to come up with at least ten ideas every day in order to keep your idea muscle alive and prevent it from going into atrophy. Engaging in this practice for a period of about six months will likely turn you into a sort of machine that spews forth ideas.

You have to make converts out of people and convince them that you are in the best position to transform your idea into a viable product or service. You have to factor in the fact that people often demonstrate a lack of interest in the ideas of others. Timeless entrepreneurial wisdom tasks you to do some work, building up your confidence and optimism.

If your belief is strong enough, you will draw others to your cause or idea. For good, you need to surround yourself with people who are willing to believe in your product or service before they physically witness it. This timeless entrepreneurial wisdom recognises the importance of building up a team around people who share a harmonious faith in your idea or product.

To gain good ground, create a business that is ubiquitous or without limit. To conveniently scale up your business and realise its perceived value, let your product or service be something that most businesses or consumers find useful.

The quickest way to success is to build something that the world really needs. It pays to focus on solving a big problem.

The degree to which you and your organisation adhere to your core values determines the degree to which you and your organisation will be successful in the long-term. You have to be clear about the purpose or cause that you and your organisation serves. How you do things is different from why you do things. Why you and your people do things is illuminated by the purpose or beliefs on which your organisation is founded. The purpose of an organisation is defined by its core values, behaviours or principles that you and your people religiously adhere to. Making profit is not part of this purpose. A company that is committed to its core values is willing to hire and fire based on the principles served by their values. An organisation disciplining itself around its core values thrills to timeless entrepreneurial wisdom.

You create actual competitive advantage around your idea by assembling intelligence around it, not by secreting it away in your mind. Such intelligence includes how to constitute the right team and how to ascertain where the emotion or passion is greatest. Talking to supportive people about your idea is often helpful in gathering useful intelligence.

You don’t have to be the best to build on an idea and show your concept to the world. Certain people will be drawn to the idea that you have conceptualized and end up taking it and making it even better.

A good product or service maximizes the probability of solving a problem for a customer. The best methodology is to start with a perfect experience for a single customer; and then scale it up to something great for the entire generality of customers.

Constantly seek criticism. A well thought out critique of whatever you’re doing will help you to make the best of your way. It is constructive to seek criticism from your friends and others. Timeless entrepreneurial wisdom advocates the accommodation of other’s points of view in order to expand your options.

Create a big advantage for yourself and your organisation by utilising an online community. Joining an online community not only enables you to have access to good valuable feedback on your ideas and the things that you’re working on, but it also exposes you to the useful experiences of others.

Don’t underestimate anyone that you come across to. A blue collar worker waiting for a bus, a bartender or a lower ranking employee can offer you valuable learning that you can keep on hand. Smart leaders seek and enrich themselves the diverse opinions of others.

Make something that people want. Being in denial over the failure of your product or service to meet customer needs is not helpful.

Don’t let others describe what you are doing. Don’t listen to the voices of hate and denigration that have nothing constructive to offer. Listening to unproductive negative feedback is often a deterrent to prototyping things. In good truth, timeless entrepreneurial wisdom advises you to be selective in the voices that you listen to.

Test your ideas rigorously throughout the project development and marketing process, even as you scale up. A way to do this is to create the smallest possible task for your idea, theory or concept and then get the resulting product out there for customers to use. Customers are the ones that will tell you if your product is working or not.

It is right to solve small problems in layers, first. Doing this enables you to build up the proper capacity and momentum to scale up and make a dent on the universe or change the world.

In good earnest, do something exceptional for your users. Give your customers an exceptional experience in product design, customer service and user community. Giving your customers an exceptional experience is worth making the core part of why you are doing business.

Build an audience and influence by spending your money on teaching and sharing. Writing and talking about things that are relevant to your industry, not about yourself all the time, will help you to build an audience and become an influencer in your industry.

As a founder, you need to realise that you can’t do everything; and even if you can, you shouldn’t. To make the best of your idea, timeless entrepreneurial wisdom encourages you to recognise the importance of partnership and cooperation.

If you praise and give people positive attention, they will flourish and thrive. As a leader in your company, you have to be a great listener and a great motivator, and you have to be very good in praising and seeing the best in others. In short, your job as a leader is to be an assistant to the rest of your company and ensure that your people have all the things they need to be effective.

You have to be comfortable with the varied external circumstances that are outside your control, that will determine the success of your idea. The questions whether the economy is right for your kind of product or service, whether you will meet the right people who will finance your business, cannot be answered with all certainty.

Open-mindedness and flexibility are qualities worth cultivating. With the original vision for your ideas or products in your full view, you need to be open to changes that will optimise their value to your customers. In years to come, your success will partly depend on constructive flexibility advocated by timeless entrepreneurial wisdom.

Pragmatic pessimism has a place in the entrepreneurial scheme of things. It entails defining all the worst case scenarios in terms of financial loss, time loss and other probable losses and then looking at what you’ll learn if any of the losses becomes an eventuality. You need to come to terms with the likely outcomes before you ever start. To fail to do this is to engage the world with rose-coloured glasses and increase your chances of being demoralized and quitting when you encounter a first hiccup or obstacle.

Make sure you take care of yourself. The entrepreneurial process often involves a long period of pain and difficulty. During that process, make sure you take care of your mental and physical health.

The timeless entrepreneurial wisdom bears a helping hand that cannot be ignored by engaged and aspiring entrepreneurs.

SALLYING FORTH INTO THE VORTEX OF CREATION, TO CREATE DELIBERATELY – ABRAHAM INSPIRATION

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
When we employ time to sit in the practice of meditation, affirmation, prayer or gratitude, with the primary intention of manifesting the things we believe are lacking in our lives, we end up wallowing in the awareness and frequency of lack. In that disempowering state, we fail to become a vibrational match to all the Goodness in our Vortex of Creation, the Core of our Inner Being that holds the vibrational equivalent of every good that we can think of.To desperately pine for or desire something, to believe that you are incomplete without that thing, to lean on desperation instead of preference, is to invite in the fear that what you desperately want may not come to fruition. The frequency of fear is not akin to that of the Vortex of Creation where all your good are stored vibrationally, waiting to manifest physically. The empowering prayer, gratitude or meditation practice is one that is done for the sheer joy and exhilaration of appreciating the abundant good in your life. In that joyful empowered state, you align with your Vortex of Creation and allow its good and inspiration to flow into your experience.

First and foremost, we are vibrational beings, always translating signals. Whatever we’re giving our attention to is causing us to translate those signals. The Law of Attraction is matching the current signal that we’re transmitting now. We are vibrational beings, a transmitting and receiving mechanism, in a Universe managed by the Law of Attraction.

We are Source Energy Beings. We were Source Energy before we came into our bodies. Although we are still in this body, we are still Source Energy. In fact, we are still more non-physical Source Energy Vibrational Beings than we are this flesh, blood and bone version that we think of mostly as ourselves. Simply put, a part of All That You Are is focused here in your physical body.

As we explore our physical experiences, we develop a personal point of view, a personal awareness and decisions of what we would prefer – how this can be better, the improvement in that. Knowing what we don’t want causes us to know what we do want. So, all day, everyday, we are radiating signals of desire or rockets of desire. The rockets of desire are animated by statements like “I want more money,” “I want more prosperity,” “I want more freedom to do what I want.” When we launch a signal or a rocket of desire, that vibrational rocket, that vibrational intention, that vibrational becoming is received by the non-physical part of us, our Inner Being. At the Core of our Inner Being is the Vortex of Creation, the vibrational version of us that precedes all manifest versions. As a result of our asking, the vibrational version of us, the non-physical part of us, becomes more prosperous. In view of this, the questions to ask ourselves are these: “what are we doing in relation to that inner prosperity and expansion, right here and now?” Are our thoughts and feelings a vibrational match to the thoughts of our Inner Being.” You can tell by the way you feel whether your focused thoughts in this moment matches those of your Inner Being. Feelings of elation, eagerness, excitement are indicators that you are in harmony with your Inner Being, that you are vibrationally up to speed with Who you have really become, that you are allowing your connection with your Inner Being, that you are allowing yourself to be the realiser of what you are asking for. On a different note, negative emotions of anger, frustration, jealousy, inadequacy are indications that you are a vibrational mismatch to your Inner Being. Your Inner Being holds expanded versions of you vibrationally in the Vortex of Creation. Negative feelings suggest that you are vibrationally out of harmony with what you have set into motion, the expansion in your Vortex of Creation, that you brought into being with your asking for more. Persistent thoughts that are mere justifications of lack prevent you from seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting and touching the things you called into being in your Vortex of Creation. Such nagging thoughts that make you a vibrational mismatch to the expansion in your Vortex of Creation include: “I want it because I don’t have it,” “I want that because I should have it,” “that person has it and that person has it; why don’t I have it.” In that question of what is missing, you are fostering, encouraging and continuing to practise a vibrational frequency that prevents you from realising what you are asking for.

VORTEX OF CREATION

If you want more than the vibrational reality in your Vortex of Creation, tune in to it. When contrast causes you to ask, your desire becomes a vibrational reality immediately. Tuning into your Vortex of Creation is not something that you do instantly; it is a gradual process. In every case, it is something that you can do. The Vortex of Creation is vibrating at a very high frequency and it would be really good for you to raise your vibration to match the frequency of what is in your Vortex of Creation. When you are up to speed with what you have become, you’re tuned in, tapped in and turned on. Being in harmony with your Inner Being makes you feel wonderful, makes things to go well for you, gives you good timing and flexibility, and brings benefits to those around you. When what you are thinking about in this moment and giving your attention to in this moment is free of resistance, when you are not doing that thing you do that makes you feel uneasy, when you are not introducing into your vibrational frequency unwanted things, when you are in that place of allowing, when you have been meditating, when you’ve been praising, when you’ve been appreciating, when you’re in love, when you’re in a high flying good feeling place, when your emotions are telling you how good you’re feeling, then you are a perfect vibrational match to what’s in your Vortex of Creation. For that, what’s in your Vortex of Creation will flow to you through the path of least resistance. The realisation of it will be yours. When you are allowing the connection between you and your Inner Being, inspiration comes and you have a feeling about something. To just feel wonderful and clear-minded is the first evidence that you’re up to speed with your Vortex of Creation and its contents. When you are in harmony with your Inner Being, ideas will flow in and you’ll know that they are good ones.

VORTEX OF CREATION

Thoughts are turned into things through focus and reception, and response to that reception. Even the economy and cells of your body evolve in this manner. Your Eternalness is all about the never-ending succession of evolution; it’s all about thoughts turning into things. It’s beneficial to start addressing yourself more vibrationally instead of physically because the physical parts of you and the physical things that you’re giving your attention to are already manifested, already done. Put your attention to where you are going. So, when life shows you that you want something, you want to be more forward-looking towards the evolving and unfolding of what you’re asking for. It pays not to stand where you are, sometimes in the absence of what you want, justifying or defending why you should get more of what you want because you don’t have it.

Every subject is two subjects. It’s like a stick that has two ends. On one end is the absence of what you want and on the other end is the presence of what you want. When you ask for more money, where is your emotion? Are you standing in a feeling of desperation and disappointment or are you standing in an attitude of appreciation and anticipation? Where is your vibration relative to the things that you’re asking for. Are you more of a vibrational match to the problem or the solution. However it has turned out so far in your life experience is what you’re a vibrational match to. Nobody is withholding anything from you. Empowering feelings of Joy, Gratitude, tends towards the solution rather than a lack of it. You can tell what you’re offering vibrationally by what you’re living, by what you’re surroundedd with.

Your Inner Being is standing in complete knowing of what you’re asking for. In other words, it knows and sees the vibrational version of it. The vibrational version of what you’re asking for, just like a seed in the ground can grow to the full manifestation of what you’re looking for. Your Inner Being is there with the seed of the Abundance that you’re looking for; the seed of the physical wellness; the seed of the relationships that you want; the seed of all things you’ve been asking for. Your Inner Being is there with the beginning of what you’re asking for. Your Inner Being doesn’t have the right or wherewithal to assert anything into your experience. Therefore, you have to become a believer of the vibrational reality before the vibrational reality can come into your material experience. The vibrational versions of the things you want have progressed in varying degrees; some of them are right and ready for you to experience. Some of your beliefs keep your desires from being realised by you. A belief is only a thought that you continue to think. When you quiet your mind, you stop all thoughts. When you stop all thoughts, when your vibration rises because you’re not holding it down with things your Inner Being knows are not true, when hatred and fear are disengaged, you just move right back into the natural Love and pure positive energy that is you. That is what We call the receiving mode; it means now you are at the doorway of your Vortex of Creation. Now, in the absence of contradictory beliefs, the pure beliefs of your Inner Being are dominant. In fact, they are the only beliefs. When you meditate and quiet your mind, and allow your vibration to rise, you become the frequency of your Inner Being. If you are in tune with your Inner Being, you feel wonderful; if you are not, you feel less wonderful to varying degrees all the way to awful. When you quiet your mind and your vibration rises, you will be at the doorway of your Vortex of Creation; in that receiving mode, what your Inner Being knows about everything including you, becomes your knowledge too. So, ideas will begin to flow to you through your path of least resistance. Those ideas are thoughts worth listening to, because they are not from a receiving mode of fear. They are from the receptive mode of knowing Who You Are, what you want, what’s in your Vortex of Creation and what’s already been allowed by you to play out. Your Inner Being knows where you stand in relationship to everything that you want. More so, It knows your path of least resistance to them. In this moment, right now, what receiving mode are you in? Are you in the receiving mode of worrying about things? Or are you in the receiving mode of appreciating things? You have Infinite Intelligence adoring you and aware of you and everything that is important to you. Meditate and quiet your mind, so that you will get better and better at feeling those impulses and ideas from your Inner Being. When you take 15-20 minutes in the morning to focus attentively on something in the room, something that does not prompt much thought, something that’s not very interesting like the sound of the air conditioner in the room, you begin to quiet your mind. Then, you open the doorway to yourVortex of Creation and begin to receive thoughts from it. You could get an impulse to call someone or to do something. This could happen in the last two minutes of your meditation. You know you’ve quietened your mind when you feel that detachment and clarity of mind. When you follow through with that impulse from your Vortex of Creation and see the powerful productive effects of that, you will realise that it is only your life experience that gives you true knowing. Words don’t teach; words don’t mean anything

It’s always about attraction; nobody is doing or withholding anything from you.

FEELING THE PULSE OF ETHICAL LEADERS

Ethical leaders allow their leadership to stem from their relationship with their people. They create maximum impact and influence by respecting and carrying everyone along, entrenching sound moral values and principles within themselves and their organisations, as they influence others towards a common goal.

Ethics weighs upon its heart the kinds of values and morals an individual or society finds desirable or appropriate. It also gives greater visibility to the virtuosness of individuals and their motives. Ethics beats up for a system of rules and principles that guide us in making decisions about what is “right or wrong” and “good or bad” in a particular situation. It keeps on hand a basis for understanding what it means to be a moral decent human being. With regard to leadership, it concerns itself with the nature of leaders’ behaviour and their virtuosness. In a given circumstance, the choices and responses of leaders are informed and directed by their ethics. During the late 1990s, many Americans felt that the President of the United States, Bill Clinton, failed his ethical responsibility to do the right thing – to tell the truth. This assessment was informed by Bill Clinton’s misrepresenting under oath an affair he had maintained with a White House intern.

ETHICAL LEADERS

Leadership is partly centered on ethics because leaders help to establish and reinforce organisational values. A leader’s actions are morally correct and rich in ethics of caring if they express care for their subordinates. An ethics of caring is crucial for building trust and cooperative relationships in organisations. A leader can become more effective by embracing the principles of ethical leadership set out hereunder.

Acknowledging the unconditional worthiness of others and recognizing that every one is deserving of respect is part of the idea that drives ethical leadership. This means to respect the desires and aspirations of others and not to treat others as mere means or vehicles to an end. The needs of others to own autonomously established personal goals must be reckoned with in harmony with the organisational goals. Ethical leaders respect their subordinates and allow them the liberty of nurturing their own creative wants and desires. To integrate the needs, values and purposes of their subordinates with their own, ethical leaders approach others with a sense of unconditional worth, and value the unique personal strengths and talents of others. Pursuant to the same objective, they lend credence to the ideas of others, confirm them as human beings, and at times, defer to their subordinates. By listening closely to their subordinates, being empathic and tolerant of opposing points of view, ethical leaders show respect to their people. Showing respect to others boosts others’ sense of adequacy and competence. This results in increased productivity.

By placing their followers’ welfare foremost in their plans, ethical leaders demonstrate their innate desire to serve and their altruistic ideals. The ethical leaders’ altruistic service behaviour calls into being mentoring, empowerment behaviours and team building. The responsibility to make decisions beneficial to the welfare of others and to be of service to them holds with ethical leaders. Moral or ethical leadership is founded on attending to others. As servants of the vision within an organisation, ethical leaders nurture a vision that is greater than themselves. Shunning egoistic or self-centered interests, they integrate their vision with those of their subordinates in the organisation.

Ethical leaders stand for fairness and justice. To treat all of their people in an equal manner, first and foremost, is their way of aspiring to be a better and a more effective leader. They proffer clear, reasonable and moral explanations in situations where there is a preferential treatment. If a leader’s values is grounded in fairness and justice, those ideals will become glaring in the manner with which the leader uses to distribute resources, rewards or punishments to the people. Ethical leaders do not play favourites. A level playing ground devoid of favouritism promotes cooperation amongst groups of people.

To be an ethical leader is to be honest. Dishonesty in a leader breeds mistrust. Dishonest leaders are undependable and unreliable from the perspective of their followers. When others no longer trust and believe in a leader, his or her impact is severely diminished. A relationship suffers when one of the party feels that the other is trying to manipulate the relationship selfishly. Being honest not only means telling the truth but it also has to do with being open to others and representing reality without deceitful embellishments as much as possible. Striking a balance between being open and candid while at the same time ascertaining what is appropriate to disclose is the challenge that ethical leaders deal with effectively. For ethical leaders, being honest means honouring their promises, avoiding untoward embellishments, honouring their obligations, being accountable, and honouring the dignity and humanity of others. Ethical leaders set up the right framework for rewarding honest behaviour within their organisation.

Ethical leaders create a community by marrying their purposes with those of their subordinates. The broad vision or goal that results from this amalgamation is greater than that of any individual including the leader. The ethical dimension of leadership refers to the process that the leader employs to influence others to reach a common or communal goal. A common goal implies an agreement in direction between the leader and the followers. This concern for the common good, a factor that hallmarks true ethical leaders, motivates them not to impose their will on others. Ethical leadership stems from the leader-follower relationship and cannot be controlled by the leader. All to common good, an ethical leader pays heed to the purposes of every one involved in an organisation and the interests of the community. Establishing higher and broader moral purposes to ensure that individual and group goals are bound up in the common good and public interest are at the core of ethical leadership.

A concern for the common good in the broadest sense of it characterise ethical leaders.

OPRAH WINFREY INSPIRATION WILL GET YOU TO BE AWAKE.

Oprah Winfrey inspiration strings together nuggets of wisdom that get up fires of enthusiasm to motivate us into greater success and fulfilment. The timeless messages in her words are codified below.

The way through the challenge is to be still and ask yourself “what is the next right move.” Scattering your attention into different directions and being overwhelmed by several options is not helpful. From the space where you answer the afore-mentioned crucial question, you can now proceed step by step, moment by moment, into a series of right moves that will get fulfilment to stop over with you.

Your life is bigger than any one moment. Come round to a belief that you are not defined by what another term as a failure for you; failure is there to point you in a different direction. Oprah Winfrey inspiration coexists with the notion of expansiveness, not limitedness.

Luck is preparation meeting the moment of opportunity. Thus, to give life to luck in your experience is to be prepared to handle that moment of opportunity. For every single one of us, every specific thing that has ever happened in our lives is preparing us for an auspicious moment that is to come. Oprah Winfrey inspiration advocates working on oneself in order to prepare for that moment of opportunity that would help in keeping luck in.

Free yourself from the past and embrace the present where your Wholeness is. You don’t have to hold yourself hostage to who you used to be or anything that you have ever done; who has lived and hasn’t made mistakes? Reminiscing about the follies of her youthful life, how she gave over her power to men who didn’t mean well for her, Oprah took a good measure of the responsibilities for her mistakes and embraced the wisdom of not bearing grudges. Instead, she learned from her mistakes and avoided making the same mistakes again.

The paramount thing that you have to do is to work on yourself, to fill yourself up, to keep your cup full and to keep yourself full. Oprah comes in here to buttress on this notion: “I used to be afraid particularly for people to say, ‘oh! She is so full of herself,’ but now I embrace it; I consider it a compliment that I’m full of myself; that I’m full; that I’m overflowing; that my cup runneth over. It is only when you’re full that you can give. I have so much to give; I’m not afraid of honouring myself; it’s miraculous when you think about it.”

In any situation, the way to step up your game is not to worry about the other guy. You cannot control the other guy; you only have control over yourself. Turning to Oprah Winfrey inspiration that reinforces this idea, you will behold her words as follows: “so, it’s like running a race. The energy that it takes to look back and see where the other guy is, is energy that takes away from you. If the guy is too close, it scares you. Don’t waste your time in the race looking back to see where the other guy is or what the other guy is doing. It’s not about the other guy; it’s about what you can do. You just need to run that race as hard as you can; you need to give it everything you’ve got all the time.”

What truly counts is your expectations and dreams, transforming into intuitively-held beliefs, not what others expect or desire for you. Oprah Winfrey turned away from her grandmother’s expectation of her to be a maid, like herself and embraced her own greater dreams. She opted to pursue a life that resonated with her dreams of becoming more than a maid. She nurtured a deep-seated intuitive belief that her dreams would surely come to pass. She held on to that greater dream for the longest of time.

OPRAH WINFREY INSPIRATION

You will connect easily with others when you understand that all of us are seeking the same thing: to fulfil the highest, truest expression of ourselves as human beings. Since we are seeking the same thing, there is really no difference between all of us. Although we variously choose to be a baker, teacher or whatever endeavour that plays to individual talents, we are still the same because we are using our various professions or vocations to express the highest version of ourselves.

Your immediate goal should be to figure out your life purpose if you are not aware of it yet. Wandering aimlessly without a fulfilling purpose will be your sentence if you fail to carry out this crucial task. After assessing your peculiar thinking and behavioural patterns and tendencies and discovering what you are supposed to be doing, you need to get on with the business of doing just that.

Allow others to see themselves in you. Your willingness to understand and to be understood, to connect with others and to show compassion will turn you into a mirror that reflects the Wholeness and Worthiness of others. Assuming that non-judgemental stance means that you are doing some consciousness work, that you’re grounded, that you’re awake and that you’re coming from a centred, focused place.

To be successful is to reach that point where you are absolutely comfortable with yourself. Whatever material things that you’ve acquired are of no consequence if you lack the ability to say  “no” and not feel guilty about it. Oprah chimes in here: “the greatest success that I’ve achieved is to have that kind of internal strength and internal courage to say ‘no,’ I will not let you treat me this way; I demand only the best for myself. The same thing that prevents you from being abused as a child also allows you to build success for yourself. You’re worthy to say ‘no” even if others don’t like you in the process. The important thing is how you feel about what you’re doing and how you feel about yourself. It’s a long struggle.”

Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life because you become what you believe. Growing up as a little girl on a little farm, Oprah did not allow the poverty that surrounded her to deter her from her dreams of a better, greater life. That dream was also a strong feeling that she allowed herself to follow. She talks about the secret of her success with the following words: “I understand that there’s a power greater than myself that rules my life. In life, if you can be still long enough in all of your endeavours, in the good times and in the bad times, you will connect yourself to the Source; I call It God; others call It the Universe, All that Is, the Force. When you allow the energy that is your personality to be connected to the greater Force or God, anything is possible for you. I’m the proof of that. Oprah Winfrey inspiration brings to our minds the notion that a background of poverty is not a barrier to success or a fulfilling life.

Your legacy is every life that you’ve touched. Great philanthropic moments are not the only things that make a huge difference in our world. How one uses his or her life every day to be a light to others also counts a great deal. To carry in thoughts of Hope, wellbeing and Wholeness for others is at the heart of Oprah Winfrey inspiration.

The true masters are those who know how to rejoice in the good times, how to have faith in the bad times and how to keep going and never quit.

Pursue the idea of being yourself without allowing your mistakes to discourage you. Learn to be a better person through the lessons in your mistakes

When people reveal themselves to you the first time, believe them. Mistreatment or a lack of integrity coming from another cannot be rationalised away; such ill behaviours are likely to reappear in the future to haunt or hurt you.

Live your life from the point of view of the truth and you will survive anything, even death.

Your life is always speaking to you in a manner that you can understand, through the people interacting with you, your circumstances and experiences. Every single person that you encounter, no matter his or her station has something meaningful to teach you, something that you could use to grow yourself into the best of yourself. Our number one job is to become more of ourselves and to grow ourselves into the best of ourselves.

To focus on what you have will truly convince you that the universe is abundant and will also draw more abundance into your life. If you continue to give energy to the habit of focusing on what you don’t have, you will never have enough. Be grateful; keep a gratitude journal; every night, list out five occurrences of your day that you’re grateful for.

Oprah Winfrey inspiration can waft us over to success and fulfilment when it’s essence of honouring our inherent worthiness and those of others, cherishing hard work and expressing gratitude are embraced.

CATCHING THE INFECTION OF SUCCESS WITH JACK MA INSPIRATION.

When you fall in with Jack Ma inspiration, you will get round to success and your overall effectiveness will fatten out a lot.

Successful people are always optimistic about the future. They do not hold with the habit of complaining.

Solving the problems of others will put together for you sterling success.

Opportunities are found amidst the complaints of others. To solve a problem is to create an opportunity. Between 1994 and 1995 in China, Jack Ma spied an opportunity in the discontent of small business owners who wanted to sell their products abroad but were constrained by financial and other factors. He started Alibaba to solve this problem.

If everybody believes or loves your dream, forget about it; that’s not your opportunity. It is good when a lot of people don’t agree with your dream. Pursuant to realising your dream, you must think carefully and gather a group of people who believe in your dream. What is critical is that you and your team believe in your dream, not the assessments and judgements of friends, family members or investors. Believing in your dream creates a conducive atmosphere for hard work to thrive and brings success into your sights. Jack Ma inspiration calls you up to find a worthy dream to believe in and to commit fully to it.

JACK MA INSPIRATION

The emails of thanks from customers are the best revenue. For the first three years of doing business, Alibaba did not generate any income. The emails of gratitude and encouragement from customers motivated them to continue moving forward.

Think about how you can have a seat amongst those who make the difference in society. Do not apprentice yourself to complaining and spreading words and thoughts of lack. Those who complain are usually the ones who steal. Jack Ma inspiration is rooting for you to partner with optimism, make a difference in the lives of people and come through with flying colours.

When you are done with thinking, start doing something immediately. Do not allow Procrastination or fear to rob you of your fantastic ideas; break that monotonous routine and make the move; tomorrow is new; galvanize yourself to move forward to a potential collaborator.

To work for yourself is to think about others and how to help them. You will be successful only when your co-workers, staff and customers are satisfied and happy. Jack Ma inspiration shares the notion that working for yourself means working for the society.

To have a big passion for the future and secure its high ground, you have to concern yourself with how many lives you are changing for the better, not how much money that you’re making. Alibaba relied on the internet to empower small businesses.

Build up your business and the ecosystem of its infrastructure, little by little. Do not imitate; build up something unique.

No matter how big the vision is, you have to start from the small things, the easy secure bits. All for the good, your first move needs to be a little bit secure and easy.

Get support from the government establishment but do not rely on them. When you and your team believe in your dream and work assiduously towards its actualization, things will eventually portion out beneficially for all of you. Consequently, a sizeable lot of good times may put you and your organisation in a position of not needing to borrow money from the banks or the government. This was certainly the case with Alibaba.

To be an entrepreneur is to do certain things first before others. You have to be brave a notch higher than others and wake up before they do.

If you’re 25 years old, any mistake is an income, a wonderful revenue.

For young people under the age of 20 years, be a good student; under the age of 30 years, go to a small company, follow somebody, learn about passion and dreams. What really matters is the boss that you follow, not the company that you move to. A good boss teaches you differently aside from the status quo.

If you fall within the age bracket of 30 to 40 years, you have to think clearly and decide whether you want to become an entrepreneur and work for yourself; within the age bracket of 40 to 50 years, do all the things that you’re good at; within the age bracket of 50 to 60 years, work for young people. Young people tend to be more knowledgeable, dynamic, versatile and energetic. So, rely on them; invest in them and make sure that they are good. When you’re over 60 years, spend some time for yourself; it may be too late for you to change.

Always raise money when you have money. When you don’t have money, don’t go out to raise money. The banks will probably not lend you the first run of money. Little by little, prove the worthwhileness of your dream with the bits of money that you have raised and you will eventually draw some supportive investors to you and your company.

You will set yourself to a good fortune and attract money from investors if you have a good team, a good dream, a relaxed plan and a good record. Don’t fret over money; money follows people. The money will come when you follow dreams that thrill to your execution capability.

Mistakes are the best assets that you have. Don’t worry about making mistakes; just go ahead if you have a dream. Attuning to the gems and lessons in mistakes is an idea found at the core of Jack Ma inspiration.

Competitors will never kill you; you will kill yourself by not serving your customers better. Set about your business and do not worry about the competition because your competitors also worry about you. If you do business, you will always have competition. To concern yourself with improving your relationship with your customers is to lean towards Jack Ma inspiration.

Forget about what you learnt in the MBA; use your instinct to make sure that everything you do is serving the needs of your customers.

The only thing that will guarantee and sustain your success is to keep your passion burning, to keep believing in the future, to keep investing in young people and to keep sustaining the mission of helping others to succeed. Getting carried away by current successes and attendant riches spells doom.

The primary goal of Jack Ma inspiration is to empower you to catch the infection of success and empowerment.

HELPING IN CRISIS THAT SPIRITS OTHERS UP.

Helping in crisis is a discipline that lends support to others in order to make their lot in this life more effective. Thus, the helper operates in a balanced manner that recognises the Wholeness, independence and resourcefulness of the helpee.

Stress reaction, a condition characterised by physiological tension and persistent choice conflict, often puts a subject under pressure to reduce the tension and achieve comfort and equilibrium. A stress experience sets up a more pervasive and less intense condition than a crisis, in the subject, but it may continue for an unlimited time, with or without provoking stimulus (Janosik, 1993). Numerous studies have linked stress to ill health (Monat & Lazarus, 1991). A crisis is a state of disorganisation that ushers a subject into a frustration of important life goals or a profound disruption of their life cycles and methods of coping with stressors or stressful events. The subject’s feelings of fear, shock and distress about the disruption, not the disruption itself, is usually referred to as the crisis. crisis often operates within a limited time frame, usually lasting not more than a few weeks (Janosik, 1994; Slaiken, 1990).

HELPING IN CRISIS

The likelihood of a positive outcome is enhanced if help is offered early, at the onset of the crisis (Parad, 1965). Early help not only diminishes the probability of the subject harming himself or herself but it also galvanizes the person’s motivation to change or grasp at constructive solutions. Hence, helping in crisis is something that should be put into execution early enough, for constructive ends.

A family in crisis must be helped as a unit, for a desirable outcome to result.

The following strategies can be applied to get a subject back to a pre-crisis level of responding and then onward to stimulate renewed growth, independence and self-confidence. Helping in crisis comes off successful when the subject is motivated to resolve the state of crisis and achieve renewed equilibrium.

Give the victim an opportunity to describe the traumatic event and experience the remaining feelings associated with the event. This post-traumatic stress debriefing has a set purpose of preventing the serious effects of the trauma from appearing later – known clinically as P. T. S. D (posttraumatic stress disorder). Allowing the affected person to vent their feelings rather than deny or repress them is the helping strategy here. Thus, helping in crisis is a means of curtailing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Being with the subject in an attentive way during periods of stress provides a measure of comfort to him or her. Listening to the subject ventilate feelings brings into existence a powerful supportive effect.

Getting a traumatised subject to start talking about his or her feelings and hopes is a necessary step in working with Hope as a helping tool. Hope is the main antidote to despair and also proves effective as the source of relief from tension and frustration of unmet goals and uncertain future.

Examine the subject’s self-defeating assumptions and catastrophic logic with a view to encouraging him or her to logically challenge and disprove them. The helper’s role of offering suggestions marshals the subject’s initiative and motivation for self-improvement. The helpee is encouraged to question the cherished beliefs and assumptions and live through the discomfort of realising that his or her thoughts and values have been flawed. The first step to challenging your self-defeating negative thoughts and substituting them with more self-enhancing positive thoughts is to remind yourself that you are in control of your life and that this control includes your thoughts. The next step is being aware of what you are saying to yourself through rigorous self-examination questions like “what am I telling myself that is making me upset?” It is helpful to write down two self-messages critical of you and thrilling to self-defeating results. Then, examine the self-defeating statements for flawed or distorted reasoning, overgeneralisations that draw a false conclusion from one incident. To continue with, a restructuring or reframing of the negative statement unearthed in step 2 is given event. Thus a negative statement like “I’ll never be able to find a satisfactory relationship could be reframed as “even though it will be difficult for me to leave this relationship, I’ll probably find others in future.” Step 5 is to persist in trying to change deep-seated negative thoughts. In addition, one could apply the self-command “Stop it,” Whenever negative thoughts assail the mind.

Avoid the overuse of reassurance that makes you sound shallow to a traumatised subject. Platitudes like “everything will come out in the wash, so don’t fret” or “everything has a silver lining” often fails to hit the subject’s fancy.

Give event to the true goals of reassurance. Reassurance fosters hope and expectations of future rewards. The essence of reassurance is to increase the subject’s confidence, galvanize their strengths, cut back their anxiety to optimum working levels or reinforce the desired behaviour. You can reassure a subject with the following comments: “you are competent,” “you can be reasonable,” “you can solve your problem,” “you can feel better.” Reassurance also comes into being by you expressing approval of a helpee’s constructive statement. Thus, the remark, “that’s sounds to me like a good idea – very thoughtful” may come in useful here. Unfurling pictures of predictable outcomes also come off successful as a means of reassurance. These statements are effective in this regard: “you may probably find yourself a bit moody the next couple of days; this happens sometimes, so don’t worry about it,” it will likely continue to be rough for a while, but you will be able to handle it all right.” Telling traumatised subjects that their problems have solutions, that others have grappled with a similar difficulty and triumphed, or that annoying symptoms disappear at fairly predictable times motivates them to tolerate their momentary distress. Effectively helping in crisis moments often stands with these reassuring skills.

“Sweetening” or distorting the hard truth is unhelpful. A negative evaluation of work performance often means that one has been unsatisfactory at work. Nothing is gained by assuring the subject that people do not understand him or her or that some “miracle” is going to happen. Helping in crisis admits of a clear assessment of the facts.

Assist a subject undergoing trauma to accept the unacceptable.

To inspire more growth and facilitate the restoration of self-esteem in the subject, encourage him or her to evaluate objectively genuine feedback about his or her work, standing as a parent, wife, husband, boss or colleague. This is beneficial in helping in crisis occasioned by disruptions in family and work life.

Do the effective by giving full play to a realistic perception of the crisis event, providing support to reduce the tensions associated with the crisis or conflict, weighing all the coping alternatives and motivating the helpee to make a commitment to action geared to achieve reasonable equilibrium, integration and future growth. People in crisis are often hallmarked by a narrowing of perceptions; very few solutions and alternatives dot their horizon. In view of this, it is quite helpful to suggest some possibilities and also draw out some ideas from the subject.

Motivate the helpee to put in execution the tensing and relaxing of large muscle groups or focusing on the breathing to induce relaxation. Physical tension usually attends stress reactions, and comfort often hinges on working on muscle tension.

When a subject has achieved a measure of equilibrium through the application of the aforementioned processes, he or she can then be helped to identify inherent strengths and plan a strategy for releasing the growth potentials. The subject is encouraged to develop his or her own growth goals. Helping in crisis seeks to bring home to the helpee effectiveness.

Helping in crisis is to offer encouragement, love and security desired immediately by persons suffering from loss.

A HUMBLE PRAYER FOR HOPE THAT RENDERS LIFE BEAUTIFUL AND RADIANT.

Beloved God, do Your wonderful loving and find my faithful prayer for Hope worthy of Your attention.

Heavenly Father, Source of all that is good, great and true and all that is, and is to be, let my hopes newer, brighter than before, dawn with Your Mercies every day. Bestow on me a privilege that coaxes the declining rays of the sun to become forerunners for celestial hopes destined to be mine. My humble prayer for Hope stands in expectation of Your nurturing.

PRAYER FOR HOPE

Fill me with Hope Divine. Grant that I, though toiling here, may in Spirit being Thine, see and hear hope everywhere.

I love to hear the Robin singing, perched on the highest bough. Its carefree song of gratitude stirs me into an optimism that only You Lord can grant, an optimism that caters to unsullied Hopes.

Almighty Father, the eternal Lover of my Spirit, make me a friend of Hope Eternal. Reclothe me in the rightful Mind that enfranchises me to embrace the resplendent Hopes that You’ve placed inside my Mind.

When my heart is breaking under sorrow’s iron rod, all the sorrow and all the aching wring with a pain that still does not leave me hopeless, for I AM an open door to eternal currents of Divine Hope.

I AM welcoming the Light of Divine Hope streaming through me now, Fiery Energy in motion that transmutes the fog of my depression into constructive Light.

Beloved God, work Your sovereign Will through me now and treasure up Divine Hope in my Heart forever.

I now take on fresh courage, for the clouds that I dread are big with Divine Hope and Mercy purposed to break in blessings over me.

I judge not You Lord with a feeble human sense but trust You completely for Your Grace and the Hope that You instil in me. Behind an unsettling providence, Your smiling face peeks out and enlivens the Hope that You nurture within me.

God’s Grace contrived a way to save my mind rebellious in fear, and make me immune to blind unbelief sure to err.

Dear God, strengthen me to always tread the Heavenly Road to Hope’s wonderous plan.

I sing the Almighty Power of God that built the lofty Skies of Hope inside my Mind.

I sing the Goodness of God that gives occasion to Hope in the challenging times of my life.

I sing the Wisdom of God that ordained Divine Hope to rule in the stead of despair.

Dear Lord, thank You for answering my humble prayer of Hope and lending me a foundation of eternal Joy.

JEFF BEZOS LESSONS WILL HELP YOU TO PUT IT TOGETHER FOR SUCCESS.

JEFF BEZOS LESSONS

JEFF BEZOS LESSONS BOASTS OF TAKING UNFULFILMENT TO A PLACE BEYOND RECALL.

To apprentice yourself to Jeff Bezos Lessons is to rise up and demonstrate boldness against the ordinary run of things. Although it is part of human nature to focus on things that are not yet working out, you should ensure that you are making progress by learning from and being motivated by the discontent associated with the unwanted situation. Taking bold steps entails experiments, and by their nature, experiments are prone to failure. Jeff Bezos Lessons come into good effect when you realise that the few big successes compensate for dozens and dozens of things that didn’t work out. Kindle, Amazon Prime and Amazon Third-Party Solar business are all examples of big bets that worked out nicely. They brought good returns that offset the cost of the experiments. Jeff Bezos has this to say of this point: “I’ve made billions of dollars of failures; literally billions of dollars.”

To steer your company away from extinction, you need to experiment and embrace failure. A desperate situation is what awaits a company that fails to experiment and embrace failure. In that dire situation, making a wishful bet or betting the whole company will not save it. The end of their corporate existence is the unenviable fate that the company has unwittingly chosen for itself.

Experience is always teaching us that big things start small. The biggest oak takes its rise from a small acorn. The wisdom to let your undertaking or venture to grow one step at a time is a sterling aspect of Jeff Bezos Lessons.

Build up your business step by step ferociously and passionately. Basically, you have to put down your impatience because you can’t skip the necessary steps involved in building your business. Jeff Bezos Lessons shines forth here as he declares, “things take time; there are no shortcuts. Do those necessary steps with passion and ferocity.”

A principal part of your intellectual property is your brand name. From the onset, the promoters of a new company or a marketing invention must understand that brands for companies can be likened to reputations for people. Jeff Bezos Lessons continues beneficially as he declares, reputations are hard won and easily lost. The most important intellectual property that a company can have is Amazon for us. What that name stands for is the trust that we have worked very hard to earn. You can’t ask for trust; you just have to do it the hard way, one step at a time.” When you make a promise and then fulfil that promise, when you undertake to deliver something tomorrow and actually go ahead to honour your undertaking and when you consistently live up to your words and promises, then you will strengthen the trust reposed on you by your customers and patrons. Jeff Bezos comes in here again in a manner that gives more meat to this point: “I like to think of a brand as a person and what is the reputation of that person and how have they earned that reputation.”

Stress primarily comes into existence from not taking action over an unresolved issue that you have some control over. When you find yourself in a stressed mood, it could be a signal for you to search through your mind and unearth stressful thoughts and the unresolved issues associated with them. To address the issues through constructive actions, even if you are not making any success out of them, leaves you less stressed. Jeff Bezos Lessons continue to spring forth as he has this to share: “stress comes from ignoring things that you shouldn’t be ignoring. Stress doesn’t come from hard work. You can be working incredibly hard and loving it; on another note, you can be out of work and be incredibly stressed over that. If you are out work but going through a disciplined approach of series of job interviews and working to remedy that situation, you are going to be a lot less stressed than in a situation where you are just worrying about it and doing nothing.”

Only happy people or staff can give great customer experience. A set of miserable people watching the clock all day cannot create much value for your customers or your company. Working in harmony points to your coming home in a more energised state. In that empowered state, you will come home being a better husband or wife and a better dad or mum. In return for that, you will also go to work being a better boss or colleague. For most people, harmony is about meaning. People want to be convinced that they are doing something interesting and useful. With all the time in the world, you can still feel miserable and drain your energy away for want of harmony in your life, for want of meaning in your activities and ventures. Jeff Bezos Lessons highlights the importance of harmony as he opines, “for us, because of the challenges we have chosen for ourselves, we get to work in the future. It’s super fine to work in the future for the right kind of person.”

It takes a lot of stubborn relentlessness and flexibility to turn your ideas into a successful product. Knowing when to be relentless and when to be flexible is part of the key to entrepreneurial success. To be stubborn in your vision is a requirement for not giving up easily on that vision. Take the initiative to be flexible on your vision because as you go along pursuing it, you will discover that some of your preconceptions and assumptions would be proved wrong. A flexible mindset enables you to change or tinker with the things that are not working. Jeff Bezos Lessons become a pearl, here, as he lets fly this gentle reality check: “taking an idea successfully all the way to the market and turning it into a real product that people really care about, one that really improves people’s lives, is a lot of hard work.”

Keeping abreast with inventions and inventors is a good learning experience and something capable of igniting your own creative passions. Jeff Bezos admires Walt Disney and Thomas Edison. Particularly, he respects Walt Disney’s incredible capability to create a vision potent enough to rally a large number of people about it. Disney Land and Disney Theme parks stood out in his mind as visions that no single individual could ever pull off alone. Walt Disney’s ability to get a big team of people working in a concerted direction hit the mark for him.

Executing a novel or rare idea requires a team of people. Jeff Bezos Lessons persistently shines it’s light on this idea with this statement from him; “almost everything that is going to change the world, solve problems and improve something is usually big efforts and they require teams working together to really get something important done. That has been the story of Amazon.Com.

The wisdom to do something that you are very passionate about, not to chase the hot passion of the day, is worthwhile to remember. Jeff Bezos has this to say in furtherance of this idea: “you really need to be clear with yourself and I think one of the best ways to do that is this notion of projecting yourself to age eighty and looking back on your life to try to make sure that you have minimised the number of regrets you have. That works for career decisions as well as for family decisions. People should take a long-term point of view; I don’t believe that you should live for the now; I think that what you should do is to think about the great expanse of time ahead of you. To plan for that in a manner that will leave you ultimately satisfied is well advised.”

If you get yourself up to do anything interesting in the world, you are going to have critics. Jeff Bezos Lessons for transcending critical speech rich in a misunderstanding of your intentions is a mirror of the following words from him: “the best defence for speech that you don’t like is to develop a thick skin because you can’t stop it. You are going to be misunderstood. If you absolutely can’t tolerate critics, then don’t do anything new or interesting.”

Complaining is not a strategy. Jeff Bezos Lessons motivates you to see off unwarranted and unfounded complaints with the following words: “you are going to earn your keep in this world. If you invent something and customers come to the party, it’s disrupting to the old way. The Internet is disrupting every media industry. Amazon is not happening to bookselling; the future is happening to bookselling.”

Jeff Bezos Lessons for a fulfilling life works hand in glove with boldness, innovation, relentlessness, flexibility and effective cooperation.

TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP PRACTICE THAT LEVERS UP YOUR CREDIBILITY.

TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP PRACTICE

POINT TO NOTE, TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP PRACTICE PORTIONS OUT INTO SEVERAL ASPECTS CAPABLE OF BUILDING UP THE CREDIBILITY OF AN ORGANISATION.

Transformational leadership practice as a process moves individuals through change and transformation. For the most part, the transformational leadership practice exerts a unique form of influence that motivates followers to accomplish more than what is usually expected of them. Charismatic and visionary leadership form part of its process. The influence of transformational leadership could span from influencing followers on a one-to-one level to influencing entire organisations and even cultures. In the process of inviting in change, followers and leaders are inextricably bound together in the transformation process.

Given to the process of engaging with others and creating a connection that raises the level of motivation and morality in both the leader and the follower, the transformational leadership practice defines a leader who is attentive to the needs and motives of the followers and tries to help them to reach their fullest potential. Classic examples of transformational leaders are Mohandas Gandhi and Martin Luther King Junior. These leaders raised the hopes and demands of millions of people and in the process were changed themselves. The approach adopted by these transformational leaders is quite different from the exchange dimension of transactional leadership. This exchange dimension is well-illustrated in a situation where teachers reward students with grades for work completed and where managers offer promotions to employees who surpass their goals. In the corporate world, a manager who attempts to change his or her company’s corporate values to reflect a balanced standard of fairness and justice is exhibiting a principle of transformational leadership practice. This process may put both manager and followers up to emerge with a stronger and higher set of moral values.

At a venture, transformational leadership practice sees to motivating followers to do more than expected. The following means are often employed by the transformational leader: highlighting the importance and value of specified and idealised goals in a manner that sticks it to the consciousness of the followers, motivating their followers to move beyond self-interest into organisation or team interests and inspiring their followers to take to higher-level needs like aligning themselves to their true authentic values.

Transformational leadership practice comes off successful at developing followers to their fullest potential. Transformational leaders often harbour a strong set of internal values and ideas that gear them up to motivate their followers. The followers then act in ways that support the greater good rather than their self-interests.

As role models for their followers, transformational leaders often exhibit a very high standard of moral and ethical conduct and dependability for doing the right things. Their vision and sense of mission further bolster the trust and respect reposed on them by their subordinates. Leaders with the charismatic factor are those who make others want to follow the vision they put forward. Nelson Mandela, the first non-white president of South-Africa, typifies such a leader. His high moral standards and vision for a new South-Africa coupled with the people’s response to it brought about a monumental change in their nation.

To communicate high expectations to their followers and to motivate them to become committed to the shared vision of the organisation are important aspects of transformational leadership practice. A sales manager demonstrates these aspects when he uses encouraging words and pep talks to motivate his or her sales force to excel in their work. Noteworthy would be a mention of the integral role they play in the future growth of the company.

Transformational leaders stimulate their people to stand in with creativity and innovation. Pursuing all-sided growth by challenging their beliefs and values as well as those of the leader and the organisation is what they advocate for their people. They lend foundation to new approaches and innovative ways of dealing with organisational issues, developed by their subordinates. Problem-solving at an individual level for the benefit of the whole organisation is promoted by this leader.

To make the most of effectiveness, transformational leaders create a conducive atmosphere for their people to vent their individual needs. As coaches and teachers, they assist their people to become fully actualised. To achieve this end, they often use the agency of delegation, caring designed to meet individual needs or highly structured directives.

The offshoot of transformational leadership is a performance that goes well beyond what is expected. On the other hand, the upshot of transactional leadership is expected outcomes and specified rewards. The idea to individualise the needs of the subordinates and focus on their personal development is not something that transactional leaders concern themselves with. Rather, they hold with exchanging things of value with their subordinates for their own as well as their subordinates’ interests. The people permit his or her influence because of the immediate gains that he or she afford them. On another note, leadership that involves corrective criticism, negative feedback and negative reinforcement is classed under the management-by-exception model. Here, the leader closely monitors subordinates for mistakes or rule violations and then applies corrective action. A passive application of this model is where a supervisor or manager rates an employee poorly in a performance evaluation without ever broaching the issue of the employee’s poor performance. On the far side of ineffectiveness is the laissezfaire leader. This leader finds it difficult to get through the task of leadership because of his or her habit of delaying decisions, giving no feedback and making little effort to help followers to satisfy their needs.

The passion of transformational leaders props up a clear vision of the future state of their organisations, an attractive, realistic, believable future. The simple vision, beneficial and energy-enhancing, galvanize the people and assures them of their significant role and place in the organisation. For a vision to be successful, the entire organisation must have a stake in it and it must grow out of the needs of the entire organisation. Articulating the vision is the primary role of the leader, but hammering a successful vision into final form involves the rank and file of the organisation.

Transforming an organisation’s norms and values for the better is a clear evidence of transformational leadership practice. Transformational leaders steer their organisation along the path of effectiveness with new shared meanings, new group identity and a new philosophy, for the greater good.

In all situations, even in times of uncertainty, transformational leaders prove themselves trustworthy, reliable and predictable. To articulate a vision and remain steadfast to it, even in uncertain times, is to build trust. A healthy organisation is characterized by a trustworthy leader.

Transformational leaders apprentice themselves to unlearning, learning and relearning. They are aware of their strengths and weaknesses. Their preference is for their strengths and education rather than their weaknesses. The leader’s positive self-regard helps in boosting their people’s confidence and morale.

To do the constructive, transformational leaders put in execution change. As change agents, they listen to opposing viewpoints within the organisation and also pay close attention to the threats lurking outside. They also encourage an objective assessment of the effectiveness of their organisation in meeting their goals. To entertain alternative viewpoints of how other organisations work and solve problems and to encourage the comparison of the performance of their organisation that of other companies based on a wide range of economic and non-economic indices are also part of the means they employ to effect change. In other situations, they generate instability and uncertainty that engender change by nurturing the expression of discordant viewpoints.

Transformational leaders are purveyors of change that secures great value to all stakeholders within and outside the organisation.
